Joel Davis
Poetic Justice of the Peace
I began officiating weddings at the request of friends who had a hunch I’d be good at it. Honored and humbled that they would ask me to preside over such a momentous occasion, I embraced the task and, in so doing, discovered one of my life’s callings. Since then, I've performed over 100 ceremonies, making memories for happy, loving couples from all walks of life.
In addition to performing secular wedding ceremonies, I produce podcasts (including the Boulder Tech Podcast) and, as The Vibrarian, serve as a music curator for live events and installations.
Since 1991, I have been a DJ at KGNU Community Radio in Boulder, spinning on an eclectic variety of music programs, most notably TerraSonic, a weekly global freeform mix show that I've produced and hosted since 2002.
When I'm not spending time with my wife, Jill, and two cats, CJ and Slick, I can be found pursuing my passions for travel, photography, beekeeping and ice hockey goaltending.
I am an ordained, non-denominational (i.e., secular) Minister in the Universal Life Church.
